This week our Sunday School lesson is titled Remember Gods Goodness and our golden key scripture is taken from Isaiah 26:4 Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal. Our daily bible reading for today is from Hebrews 1: 14 - 2: 4 Hebrews 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation ? Hebrews 2: 1 For this reason we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away from it. 2 For if the word spoken through angels proved unalterable, and every transgression and disobedience received a just penalty, 3 how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation ? After it was at the first spoken through the Lord, it was confirmed to us by those who heard, 4 God also testifying with them, both by signs and wonders and by various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit according to His own will. Thought for today: Relative to the population of the world, only a very few people are heirs to a fortune of money and material possessions. On the other hand, everyone who comes to Christ, trusting in Him for salvation, becomes an heir of salvation. We need to hold fast to this truth and not drift from it. No none has a better inheritance than we have, and we dare not carelessly throw it away.
