This week we are discussing how to treat your house for fleas. Fleas can enter the house on us, our pets or our visitors. Treating your cat with Revolution is the first defense against battling the almighty flea but you also need to treat your house. This can be done by doing the following steps: 1. Put your pets in a room that is not being treated. 2. Vacuum thoroughly. This will cause the fleas that are still in the cocoon stage to break out because that stage responds to vibration and CO2 (respiration). Once they are also out you can use the Knockout spray. 3. Spray a fine mist of Knockout spray to kill the fleas. 4. Your pets can return to the room once it is dry. The good thing about the knockout spray is you can use it where you need to.
