This weekend at Martinmas Moot, thanks to the Barony of Marcaster - TopicsExpress

This weekend at Martinmas Moot, thanks to the Barony of Marcaster I ran my first Kingdom level Feast. An undertaking of this magnitude cannot be done solo and an amazing amount of wonderful folks came out and helped me all weekend. From the Canton of Stedborough who made sure I did not have to wash a single dish on Saturday and Moose Lodge who came in after feast and relieved them of this duty when they started to tire. Lee Weeks, Karen Squeke OConnor, Scott McGee, Catherine, Diedre, Bea and her father and several others whose names I have forgotten who helped me prep and stuff and make food art for two days. To Khalida Al Zarqa and Christina Moeller who kept us laughing all weekend, figured out my plates and kept the dishes washed and rolling so we could get the courses out. Thanks to Lord Adriano Iubeni Kaoru Negisa for being my Hall Steward and running the servers, making table decor and decorating the hall with HL Edwardus the Wise and others, making sure the entertainment and courses went out with the dietary restrictions ones being delivered properly as well. Thank you to Her Excellency Sibeal Inghean Mhurchadha for having extra freezer space ahead of time, and handing me a pound of lemongrass for the drinks! Thanks to Her Excellency Melessee OMeara Kristen Gilpin for letting me prune her lemongrass bushes at work to get enough fresh lemongrass for four more gallons of lemongrass ginger syrup. Thanks to Her Excellency Jehannette de Lille Julia J Gerstemeier Rider for plating my appetizers and making drinks and making more food art. Many thanks indeed to Mistress Thalassia Hellenis for planning and making breakfast because she knows how hard mornings are for me to get moving, and for bringing her muse into the kitchen for selfies! If I have left anyone out, know that you do have my thanks and gratitude for all the hard work that you have done. Many hands make light work and when feeding a hungry Kingdom sometimes my memory is a little fuzzy at the end of a long pair of days. Everything went smoothly, people even sat me down to eat and drink at scheduled intervals! My one regret is that I never left to see the Crown Tourney, but hearty congratulations to our new Heirs! Also, hello and hugs to anyone I did not see this weekend. I was kinda busy. Thank you, Trimaris, for all of your help and assistance. Youre all the best adopted family one could have.
