This weekend at the Rescue-A-Bull booth I had the honor of meeting - TopicsExpress

This weekend at the Rescue-A-Bull booth I had the honor of meeting a couple who had come across a very malnourished and injured Pit Bull in a wal mart parking lot. They said they stopped and opened the door and she jumped in immediately. They had never owned a Pit Bull before and when they got her home she did not get aling with their three other dogs at all. They made her a promise that she would become a member of the family and live in the home with the others. That next day they hired a heating and air company to come out, set a unit and condition the air in the garage where they set up a place for her. Over the next year, a whole year!, they slowly introduced her to their pack and after an entire year she became a well behaved member of the family and could coexist with everyone. One year later she died of kidney failure and they say no other dog they have ever had lived them like that Pit Bull and no other dog had ever touched their hearys like she did. THAT my friends, is dedication. Too often people give up in them. Their story touched me and hopefully, when they are ready, we will be able to introduce them to their next Pit Bull and ease their hearts as well as the heart of another needy bully.
