This weekend my husband was whacking tree branches and moving them and one of them cut him on the back side of his ear. Split it good. He came in and said oils please! I put Lavender and melaleuca for cleaning the wound and to prevent infection then added helichrysum on top to close the wound. Amazing. Its sealed up nicely and no infection as he had to keep working. Helichrysum is known as natures bandaid. Note: Helichrysum is a sweet smelling essential oil known for its many fountain of youth like properties. This oil is often used to repair and regenerate scarring, both deep tissue and surface.
