This weekend while at the Freedom Festival, I witnessed several people(some of them younger people) walking using canes and walkers or in wheelchairs. Had a conversation with a friend about a family who had lost a close relative in Afghanistan. Saw at least two booths helping to raise money for children battling cancer and support for a memorial fund for a little angel who passed because of it. Talked to another person about the way many children are being raised by strung out, brain dead parents who are more interested in their next high than they are the well being of their child. Also spoke to a few guys who were worried about their jobs and their families because of this war on coal. The intent of this status isnt to be negative or bring you down. I posted this to illustrate how many people are around us each and every day who are dealing with things many of us take for granted. Pause for a moment to say a short prayer for all those in need and whenever the opportunity presents itself, lend a hand of support to someone who may need it. It could be something as simple as a word of encouragement from a complete stranger, but to them, it could be what gets them through that day. Never forget to count your blessings and tell your loved ones how much they mean to you. Go have a great day. Semper Fi
