This weekends UL Lafayette SMART Festival explores the interdependence between art and science in our lives through speakers and family-friendly demonstrations. The festival begins Friday evening at the LITE Center featuring a keynote lecture by the world renowned neuroscientist and accomplished musician Dr. Joseph E. LeDoux from New York University on “Emotion, memory, and the brain.” SMART Festival, UL Lafayette is free and open to the public of all ages.
