This weeks Catfights edition found its origin in the really awesome and stunning new album by the (not really a band but) ongoing musical project ~We Are Ghosts~ which is rooted in Israel but makes really site-specific concept albums on different places everywhere on earth. MIAMI is their new record which you can find on their bandcamp page. Started with that record, well go along some jazz-inspired tracks - Fogh Depot, Arve Henriksen - which strangly bring us towards some waves with the likes of Coil, Weyes Blood, Tropic of Cancer, Virginia Wing and of course Pye Corner Audio. With him well enter some deeper ambient and drone-injected electronic music from David Morley, Ligovskoï, Porter Ricks and many more. In the meanwhile we keep on travelling the world with the stunning Simon John Fisher Turner, Björk, Morphlexis, Greg Haines and דויד פרץ. Enjoy the trip and feel free to share.
