This weeks Tuesday Traffic Question was presented as a bit of Wednesday Wisdom, and we asked the following question: Q) What is a driver supposed to do when they meet or attempt to pass a school bus that is stopped on the highway and has a sign/signal indicating that it is picking up or dropping children off? The correct and most simple answer (which the majority of you got right!!!) is this - STOP. Section 149 of BCs Motor Vehicle Act states that a driver must do the following: A) A driver must stop the vehicle before reaching the bus and not proceed until the bus resumes motion or the driver of the bus signals to other drivers that it is safe to proceed.
