This weeks updates..... National Lok-hup Weekend The Buffalo branch will be hosting a National Lok Hup weekend on April 18 and 19. That means that all US (and some Canadian) branches will be invited to come to Buffalo that weekend. We are hoping to have an excellent showing of Buffalo Branch members at this workshop. If you dont think youre ready to try Lok Hup, youre probably mistaken. Please talk about this in classes. Health Recovery Class Holiday Celebration The health recovery class holiday celebration will be on Wednesday, December 17th (after the break in the regular class) Bring a dish to pass and some food for the food bank. Eyes See, Hands Do Thanks go out to Lynne Daniels who has volunteered to care for the TTC plants. Diane will tend the plants on Wednesdays mornings when she regularly attends class. Master Moy would say eyes see, hands do to encourage people to take part in caring for the clubs. If you see a need and would like to help, talk to your instructor to find out how to proceed. Bring friends and family, no partner required. We had a great time at the last one and hope you will join us this time. Coat Donation Drive Journey’s End Refugee Services is in need of warm coats and sweaters for new arrivals. Men, women, and children’s coats of all sizes are welcome. They are distributing coats throughout the winter season, but would like to collect most of them by December 25th. Thank you for your generosity! Shoe Purge The shoe purge has ended at the Kenmore location. All shoes have been removed from the shelves and put in boxes, which were archived this weekend. We will donate the unclaimed shoes soon
