This whiskey has been recalled in Sweden, Norway, Finland for containing Propylene Glycol. This chemical propylene glycol, a substance that is classified by the Food and Drug Administration for “generally being recognized as safe” for consumption in small doses, but nevertheless is recognized by scientists as a toxin in higher doses. This chemical is in so many products today. Including many of the pet foods & treats on the market. Our pantry made the decision to not accept nor distribute any dog food with this additive. Beneful, Kibbles & Bits and Purina Puppy Chow Blue bag all contain this chemical. Generally classified as safe when in small doses imagine an animal eating this every day twice a day. Please take the time to Google this and read up on the problems people are having that have fed these pet foods. Also many treats which we are working on not accepting due to chemicals and made in China. Just a step we can take to educating our cliental on responsible pet ownership. They may not be able to afford top dollar foods but it will still educate them on what to look for!
