This whole truth of 2015 Elections The only reason why GEJ may continue in office beyond the next elections is simply because APC doesnt want to win. BEFORE YOU THROW ME UNDER THE TRAIN, READ THIS CAREFULLY. Its not news to anyone that cares to read, that am not a GEJ fan, my reasons are clear, he has spent the past 4 years being a politician, and really not a President. You wanna take me up on this, be my guest. His handling of the insurgency in the north east can best be described as infantile. His handling of corruption can at best be defined as No Contest. His handling of Power, Energy, Education 90 % of the issues in the past four years has left more to be desired. The bitter truth is that inspite of all these failings, he might (I dare say, will) win again. For this I ask why and the answer is simple, the only opposition party that could have unseated him, has played into his hands. APC by a large gap has played into the hands of the PDP. From inception, they have played a lot of wrong cards that has got Nigerians asking the strong question. APC came on board and started a cantankerous, war of attrition in the media, that left Nigerians wondering whats the difference between the Villains they are painting and themselves. I would have expected them to focus their strategy and message on the needful, instead of calling Mr A a this and that, I would expected them to say, we would have done it this way or that way, never recognise the person in your message, just that which you intend to do. In a few months we will be casting our ballots at the polls, as of today, we dont even know who is the official APC candidate for the Presidency. He hasnt started answering the tough questions, the party machinery is scattered and not directed. The message APC is giving is one of disorganization, not good at all. Just recently did APC brand marketing start any form of strategic perception altering and formation (Must confess I saw some lampost on Idowu Taylor street, Vi, that has the kind of message they should have been banging out since last year) APC leaders should start speaking with one voice, one message, make it sound like an ideology, Make it interesting, make it urbane and aspirational and they might just survive the litmus test of time.
