This will be my 18 year in making my living as a fitness trainer-I want to take the next few weeks and share some techniques you may not be using in your fitness program to blast through plateaus and see new progress in the gym- Todays technique is a superset (antagonist muscle ie bicep/tricep or back/chest) super slow-super fast combo set-start with a moderate weight for lets say bicep cable curls-do 10 reps super slow (5 sec up/5 sec down) then immediately go into the opposite muscle (triceps) for a pulse or partial range fast movement (lets just say bench dips)-on set #2 you will reverse this and do cable curls fast and dips slow-repeat this entire sequence 2 times-this can be done with any antagonist muscle groups
