This will be surpassed by many but for those who read, I pray my testimony helps. I wanted to wait until today to offer up my testimony. In 2007 I was awarded Juco All American honor, Academic scholar athlete, and a coveted major D1 basketball recruit. However, legal issues caused for all the accolades to fade and I spent 65 days in Marion County Jail. What followed was 3 years of probation, in part to a scholarship to a school which I once deemed beneath me. A mere NAIA! During my stint in Tennessee I became a man. I learned to value education and put my faith in God. I graduated in 2011 with a bachelors degree and following graduation my former probation officer assisted me with getting my record expunged. I show this level of transparency because there is someone who may feel all is lost or money isnt right; whatever it is, Im a living witness that God can turn it around. I always thought Id be in the league or Overseas right now. Many many many pro scouts encouraged me to pursue it. But that was not my destiny. Today marks DAY 1 of being CEO. I sign my own checks from here on. I encourage EVERYONE to stay the course and believe in the process. Delayed Gratification works for those who work hard and have a direction. A direction lead by God. Im still a work in progress but I bare witness to the unmerited favor God offers to each of us daily. BE ENCOURAGED
