This will be the last time I comment on the Wounded Warrior Project. If you feel the need to post negative rumors I will unfollow you in the future. As an advisory member of the IATW we compete with the WWP for donations. If anyone would benefit from making them look bad it would be us. I just dont get what tearing down another group working to a common goal could possibly do for anyone. If you dislike or do not trust an organization just donate somewhere else. I am sick of people quoting an internet article and using it to bash WWP. I have done research. To be honest you would have to be a lawyer to fully understand many of the documents I have read. The better business bureau rates them as giving 83% to the programs. Guide star rates them at 4 of 5 stars, but asks you to buy a membership to get details. Great non profits rates them 3.5 of 4 stars and states 83% to programs. Charity Navigator rates them 4 of 5 with 57.9% going to programs. That is the lowest rating I have ever found through my research. The WWP website has a financials tab at the bottom of their site. If you click on it you find a chart claiming 80% to programs. It also has links to all the financial reports and tax documents for public viewing. There is also much debate on how these watchdog groups do their ratings. I trust these things more than a forwarded internet article that I believe to be false and slanderous. That is my opinion of the article only. Feel free to contact me if you would like to talk about any of these things. If you heard something from someone or saw it then it is a fact. Anything else is hearsay.
