This will upset a few but it is my opinion on ray rice knocking his fiancée out !!! If I was still a cop she would had been the one that went to jail. Unless its changed the person who was determined to be the initial aggressor or makes the first physical contact is the one that you are trained by law to arrest. The video shows her hitting him first. Clearly. Today the news reports she was spitting on him. Then in the elevator he yells in her face then he clearly walks away to the other side. She then comes at him again and he defends himself. She would have been arrested in ky. That was the law in ky. Now morally there is no way a man should ever ever hit a woman like that. Usually men are much stronger and you can defend yourself much less violently. But he chose his own way to defend himself. I cant see from the bad video if it was a slap or a punch. That Id like to know. Furthermore if your an nfl player your held to a higher standard due to children looking up to you as a sports hero. The whole situation is wrong. He should never ever hit her that hard. But dont be stupid enough to hit a man thinking its ok. You mess with the bull you get the horns. Well fair is fair. Dont hit a man and think he shouldnt react. I said he reacted different then my morals say but Im not him. Im only talking about the video as shown. I have no idea what happened before or after. And about after when he drug her into the hall well she didnt respect him at all why should he her is one point of view. I wouldnt have hit her like that but if a man does he should have carried her and not drug her into the hall. Its sad all around but I cant put all the blame on him. This is my opinion. Im entitled to it.
