This woman claims that shaming and humiliation happen "every day, in every classroom, in schools public and private", by teachers belittling their students. She can come into my classroom any day of the school year at any time, and I can guarantee there will NEVER be a shaming incident. Never speak in absolutes- there is always someone out there willing to refute your theory. These are the things that make me so angry as a teacher. Why is there so much teacher-bashing in the world??
