This would be my Dad...Jim as my Mom would call him, though his name was Marvin. He was a very hardworking generous man. He would go out on Christmas Eve and fix furnaces and accept Cooked Fish as payment from the little old ladies who had no other means of paying him. He was good to all eleven of us. He build a business of 25+ employees and he only had up to 8th grade formal education. He had profit-sharing as part of the employees pay. He bought my Mom a heart-shaped chair for Valentines Day and he would buy each of us kids a candy heart shaped box of chocolates. He donated time, labor and needed furnaces and supplies to the Catholic Church for over 40 years ---and when they built the new Church they gave the contract to someone else. Despite that, he kept on supporting the Church. He was a good husband and Dad!
