This writing brings sad tidings. Sometime in the evening of Nov.30 or the morning of Dec.1, our little friend Jimmy passed away. As I have it, he was found beneath a parked vehicle by Kaslo Automotive. It is not known for sure what happened. First thought, is that he may have fallen and could not get up again and may have frozen to death, but he just as easily could have had a heart attack or something. The coroner may know more but we probably will not ever hear the results. In any event, the Little “Man in the Hat” will not be seen on our streets again. My heartfelt sympathies go out to his daughter Mary and her Mother Wendy, as well as his little granddaughter Winnie whom he thought so much of.Thoughts to for his twin sister Penny at this time. There are friends too that will miss him, but so it goes. None of us knows ahead “When the bell will toll” for us. I think Jimmy was many things, some good some not so good. I imagine that can be said of most of us. In any case, he was both good and bad for me at times but I will remember the fun things and the laughter. I loved to hear him laugh and can hear him yet. We certainly had a few disagreements but thats okay and pretty natural. He was funny for sure. And so..may he rest in peace at last and i hope they have good hats in the next world. Goodbye my Friend. You were good company on many occasions.~ ~ ~
