This ws just posted to my page from my friend Martina.... I dont know how many of you have heard about the Janis Joplin Biopic Get it while you can. This movie has been in the works for many years. The Hollywood Reporter announced today that it is again moving forward and will begin shooting the second half of 2015 in LA and San Franciso. It is reported that Amy Adams is attached to the film to play Janis Joplin. I think that is would be a real disgrace to spend so many years re writing and trying to get this movie out without the perfect person to Portrait Janis Joplin. I think anyone other that the perfect person to play that roll will kill the movie. Janis was a very unique female artist. There have never been any others like her in the world....till now. If the writers and producers really want someone that can portrait Janis, then this is the woman that they need. Her name is Monika Cemeria Kozmik. Her bands name is Kozmik DreamZz. She walks, talks, moves, sings and lives Janis Joplin. Not just in her tribute band. But in her soul. I believe that Janis speaks to the world through her. This woman is the real deal. Anything less will be a disappointment to world and to Janis. I know that most movies need a A list actor / Actress for movies. But Janis was not an A list person. She was a simple hick town hippie chick that rocked the blues like no other. I am hoping to reach the producer of this movie so that he can see for himself that this is the person he needs for this movie. Now I dont normally go out on this much of a limb for anyone as this business is not an easy one. But I felt that this was well worth it. I played the same song Cry Baby for my husband without him seeing the videos. I switched back and fourth between them. He seriously thought he could tell which one was Janis and which one was Monika. He was so completely wrong. He could not tell the difference at all. He thought that Janis was Monika. If you dont believe me take a listen for yourself. I am posting this other song as this is one that I really like that Monika does. I would appreciate everyone sharing this video and hoping that it will get the attention of the media and get to the producers. If your going to do a Janis Joplin Movie. You better do it right.
