This year AFS is celebrating being 100 Years Young! If you are 30 years old and under, join more than 100 young AFSers and representatives of youth organizations around the world to discuss and share your perspectives about the critical issues surrounding the education of global citizens. The AFS Youth Workshop & Symposium presents a special opportunity for young AFSers to have a vital voice in the AFS Centennial Celebrations and contribute to the discussion about the future of AFS. Equally important, all participants of the Workshop & Symposium will discuss ways to initiate intercultural learning and global citizenship education activities relevant to their communities. Participants will also attend the AFS Global Intercultural Education Symposium at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris on Saturday, November 8, to provide an intergenerational perspective to a dynamic debate and discussion on Learning to Live Together—from Ideas to Action.
