This year is Marsden Silver Prize Bands 125th Anniversary. To celebrate it, we are holding an Anniversary concert at the beautiful St Bartholomews Church in Marsden on Saturday 28th June at 7pm. As part of the concert, we are hosting a workshop band which will meet up during the day from 2pm at Marsden Bandroom, and perform in the second half of the concert at night. Entry into the workshop band is FREE, and all the player needs to be is under 19 years of age, and at least Grade 3 standard. Tickets for the evening concert are priced at £5 each, with accompanied children coming in for FREE. You can get the whole family in for a tenner! This really is a great opportunity for your child to make new friends for life, and work with some of the finest brass musicians in West Yorkshire in a day filled with great fun and music making.
