This year marks the 40th anniversary of Iowas Area Education Agencies and AEA 267 has six team members who have been with us from the very beginning. Meet one of those familiar faces as part of our #TBT series. Rick Pearce is currently the Lead Custodian/Maintenance for the AEA 267 Clear Lake Office. He was initially hired in 1975 as a press operator. Rick shares that, in his opinion, the most notable change that has occurred in the last 40 years is the increase in technology. “The technology that has been adapted has streamlined the AEA’s effectiveness to provide top notch services to the schools and students we serve. Rick credits the staff he has worked with over these past years with his continued tenure at the AEA. He shared that he has met and worked with a lot of great people. He believes that for the first 10 years, we explained what an AEA was, however today people know the high standards that the AEAs represent. Join us in congratulating Rick on 40 years of service and on the fact that he has not changed one bit since 1975!
