This year my family lost a loving, caring person, my beautiful sister Christie Guilliot. She left behind 3 young kids and an awesome husband. Something kept tugging at my broken heart to honor her. So, this idea came to me. In honor of Christies love, my family and friends helped me get things started. Last night we picked a family to adopt for Christmas, they are a family of 7 kids, the kids ages are: a 12 yr old boy , two 10 years olds boys, an 8 yr. old girl, a 7 yr. old girl and a set of twins that are 2yrs old (a boy and girl) plus the wonderful parents. My goal is to show all my nieces, nephews, and also my little one, that Christmas is not always about receiving gifts, that giving blessings to others is an awesome feeling. It will be called Christies Christmas Wish. Every year around this time we will adopt a family that can use some help, and lots of prayers sent their way also. My goal is to get Christies Christmas Wish bigger and better every year. This year Nick and I have donated funds to get everything started. Never to late to start a tradition:) I am working on getting an account set up to be able to purchase items, and also have a few surprises planned too. Please if you feel it in your heart to make a donation, every dollar will count. No donation is too small. We will also accept gas cards and gift certificates. Please help me make this a success. I truly believe our Angel Christie is smiling upon us from Heaven. I will also post the account number as soon as it is availble.
