This year we are commemorating the 100th anniversary of World War - TopicsExpress

This year we are commemorating the 100th anniversary of World War I. But what was it all about and how did it affect people in Bournemouth? We’re running a series of friendly talks about what happened and why it matters. Our first talk takes place tomorrow (7 May) at 11am in Bournemouth Library where celebrated local historian Eileen Barker will be talking about ‘War, Wages and Social Changes’. Everyone is welcome.
