This year we are having a mascot for the event. This is Archie who is our friends Lisa Law dog. He has supported Doggy Dash For Life since we began in 2010. Please read his story..... We adopted our x staff, Archie from manchester dogs home in 2007. We realised straight away what a special, loving, comical and playful dog he was . Unfortunately in oct 2013 we noticed a lump on his chest which seemed to have appeared overnight. We contacted our vets, Wendy lanes immediately and Phil, our vet initially took bloods, followed by a biopsy, then full removal of a mast cell tumour. The operation went well and Archie has now been put on a course of chemotherapy for 6 months. all being well and fingers crossed hell get the all clear around June this year. Lisa.
