This years PGA Championship was a battle until the very end, and will go down as one for the ages. Not even dreary weather and a pesky rain delay was enough to keep Rory McIlroy from winning his 4th career major. Phil Mickelson, Rickie Fowler, and Henrik Stenson all had a share of the lead on the back nine Sunday afternoon, but neither could outlast McIlorys late charge. Mickelson claimed his 9th career runner-up finish at a major, and Fowler became the first person to ever finish in the top 5 at all four majors in a calendar year without winning one. Victory at Vahalla was Rorys 4th major title by the age of 25, etching his name in the history books next to the likes of Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus.
