Thomas Jefferson once said, “When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.” In keeping with the OVERWHELMING sentiment of the American people, the House of representatives voted to pass legislation that defunds Obamacare. A brave effort that represents the voice of those people. (If Obamacare is the answer, why have the legislative and executive branches exempted themselves from it? And why has the president issued dozens and dozens of extensions and waivers--unilaterally (and illegally)). But, unfortunately for America, the bureaucrats who stand for bureaucracy, rather than the American people, have castigated Sens/ Ted Cruz and Mike Lee who want to enact a similar senate measure. The old guard, entrenched Republicans and virtually ALL democrats have castigated Sen. Cruz for his effort. Let us give Sens. Cruz and Lee our thanks and the old guard the boot. Remind them why they need to fear us, not the other way around.
