Thomas Zung, architect, and Harry Bertoia worked on several - TopicsExpress

Thomas Zung, architect, and Harry Bertoia worked on several projects together in the 1970s. The last one was the Glenville, Ohio, Library. Harry designed and laid out the pieces for the sounding sculpture for the 1978 commission, but became too sick with cancer to continue. His son, Val Bertoia, took over and welded the rods together to complete the tonal sculpture. It is considered a Harry Bertoia, as it was drawn, planned, designed and prepared by Harry, but the final work was finished by Val. See a photo: cplorg.cdmhost/cdm/ref/collection/p4014coll10/id/200
