Thong Krut, Thong Tanote Thong Krut and Thong Thanote are two small beaches located between Laem Sor cape and Laem Hin Khom cape on the southern part of the island. From Thong Krut you will be able to enjoy beautiful sunset. From Thong Thanote there is an astonishing panorama of Ang Thong archipelago. These are calm and shallow beaches more suitable not for swimming but for a peaceful relaxation being surrounded by local colour of fishermens villages. There is no night life here and you will have to go a few kilometers to buy some simple products. But a dinner in a local café with some soft music on the background will surely make an unforgivable impression. Before you decide to go to some noisy party at Chaweng take a right turn to the Laem Sor cape to witness a true jewel of Koh Samui pagoda Khao Chedi which has recently been restored.
