Those 3 Words. No, not I love you. The words of which I speak are not nearly as beautiful as these. Felt bad earlier this week. Ran a fever Tuesday night. Went to the Doctor Wednesday morning. After taking the flu test the Doctor came in and said Those 3 Words: Youve got it. I have not had the flu in almost 40 years. This is not the way I wanted to start my 2015. But its okay. Life is not all Hallelujahs and Halos, and anyone who tells you that it is, well, as Mother Pearson used to say, they are telling you a Story (Mothers word for a lie). Jesus said that it rains on the just and unjust (Matt. 5:45). All in all, on this New Years Day 2015, I am thankful for many things, especially His Amazing Grace, Tamiflu, Chicken Soup, and You. I will be fine come Sunday. If you are in that crew to be baptized Sunday at Meadowdale, dont worry, Mr. Tate will do the baptizing. Although, I do plan to preach, Lord willing. Do good today.
