Those moments when walking down the street to the shops - TopicsExpress

Those moments when walking down the street to the shops (unwillingly, but doing so for mum) and you hear about how muslims should go back to their own countries. Here is something I learnt at Universtiy. Muslims from surrounding Asian countries came to Australia in the 1600s. The Dutch came (to W.A) not long afterwards. James Cook arrived in 1770. Tell me again how they should go back to their own country? Oh? We colonised Australia? Since when did the British recognise ownership of any other authority other than their own? They certainly didnt in North America. Or Wales. Or Scotland, Ireland, India, Singapore.... I could continue... I may have British heritage, but Im ashamed of how civilised our ancestors were.
