Those of you that know me know that I dont really have any issues with my height outside of dance but within my profession it has become a bit of an issue when getting cast. And then Mimi Quillin offers her advice to the next generation of dancers stating, At 5 11, I would make it to the end and get cut a lot with the note youre taller than I thought, so I started to hate my body for it. Then I realized, the things that I hated about my body were the exact things Bob (Fosse) and Gwen (Verdon) saw and loved and developed....Gwen said theres humor in your body, dont change that.
