Those of you who know me...know that I talk to my mom just about everyday...well last month she called me and just as soon I answered the phone she broke down crying...I hate to see or hear my mother cry so automatically I go into defense mood...I swear yall I was furious and heartbroken at the same time...when she finally calmed down enough to where I can understand her... She takes a deep breath and says I got to talk to my uncle....I immediately realized no one had tried to cause her harm or upset her...she was just crying some serious tears of joy...as long as I can remember she has been complaining about not knowing her dads (my grandfather) side of the family and she had just been granted the opportunity to finally meet some of our family members that actually live not to far from us!!! Yesterday was my Grandmas 90th birthday party and even though this was our first time meeting this side of out family we were treated like they had known us forever!!! We had such a great time...not only were the decorations beautiful..the food was sooooo good...and the atmosphere consisted of nothing but pure love!!! You guys just dont know how much we appreciate you all!!! To see my mom so happy and relieved you all excepted her with no hesitation means the world to me!!!! Family is truly everything!!! I finally know why my mom isnt aging lol...my grandma barely looks 3/4 her age...and is just as sweet as can be!!! I hugged her for the first time yesterday and she looked at me and asked so calmly Are you my grandchild too?...I smiled and said yes maam...she hugged me again and gave me a kiss on the cheek and told me to make sure That I come back and see her...I promised her I would and thats a promise I have no intentions on breaking!!!!! I love you all and would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!
