Those of you who know me well know that today is an important day for Me, most of you who know me at all know Ive had a problem in the past...Self harm. Today has been exactly 1 year since Ive harmed myself. This time last year I was in hospital trying to get help. they say the first year is the hardest right? Words cant explain how proud of myself I am today. If someone was to tell me a year ago that Id come this far I wouldnt have believed them, things still get difficult sometimes but thats just a part of life, the fact that Im able to resist an urge like that shows Im stronger than Ive ever been. If youre currently self harming, or recovering, take me as an example, you can get through it. you just have to have the confidence in yourself. Be strong, things do get easier, I promise.
