Those who are saying that Raila will run for Homa Bay county senatorial are not only daydreaming but trying to demean the peoples president. Even though Raila is not in Statehouse he still remains the president of over 5m Kenyans. I think those MPs from Homa Bay county only wants Raila to hold the seat brief for them until 2017. They fear that whoever will win the by election will have an head start come 2017. They also fear that the seat is likely to go a young and a strong loyal and competent Silas Jakimba and hence will not be possible to dislodge him 2017. I am convinced beyond doubt that Raila will only give directions as a party leader and let the people of Homa Bay make a choice. Time will tell.
