That said, we are writing today to introduce you to a new organization, and to ask for your help in getting us off the ground. The long and short of our appeal is that we need you to become a member, and encourage others to do the same. As you will see, this group is unique in that it crafts and advances solutions – both realized and unforeseen, rather than parroting the same talking points coming from other “hey we want you to become a member” organizations. The new organization is called Founders Alliance USA (FAUSA) (FoundersAllianceUSA.org). It is a 501c4 solutions-oriented membership organization. We started this organization because today’s politics – at the hands of both political parties – is failing the country. Lost in the power struggles and ideological agendas, is the very real fact that government is supposed to serve the citizenry. Even the best intentioned person, once elected to office and subjected to the greasy wheels of partisan politics, is marginalized in his/her efforts. Further, many of the guardian, watchdog and advocacy groups that exist as think tanks, political action committees, and advocacy non-profits either exist to amass financially-based political influence, or to produce reports and white papers that examine the issues but which advance no viable solutions or paths of action. FAUSA was created to affect the re-establishment of citizen control and oversight over the political and governmental processes. Yes, this is a tall order, but it can be done and we are in the final stages of developing a tool that can do just that; a tool that will – initially – target the no- and low-information voter demographic and the 41.8 percent of the American citizenry that doesn’t vote; a tool that will maximize the American citizenry’s political self-realization. We have named this tool VoterFYI. VoterFYI works like the Match and eHarmony dating models, and affects political self-realization in the individual. Why is this important? Because when a person truly knows how he or she feels about the issues – not what the mainstream media and partisan groups tell them the candidates stand for – it is easier for them to recognize the politicians and candidates that best align to their core political ideology. Because we are in the beta-model building stage we can’t go into the nuts and bolts of it just yet, but suffice it to say the tool – VoterFYI – matches the no- and low-information and apolitical voter, and non-voting American citizens, to the candidates that best align to their core political philosophy, devoid of labels. How are we going to reach these no- and low-information and apolitical voters, and non-voting American citizens? The answer to this is simple. We don’t recreate the wheel. By using target-marketing and employing the same target-marketing tactics used by the “winning side” in the last two General Election cycles, we can not only reach this target demographic, we can motivate them; we can achieve their political self-realization, freeing them from the propaganda machines of the media and political parties.
