Those who have known me for a while might know how passionate I am about my RPG hobby, and have been for these last 24 years (longer than many of the people I know have been alive, now that I think about it). And no setting has ever caught my attention more than the original Dark Sun, apost apocalyptic fantasy world full of savage beauty, and a constant battle for survival. The combination of the creativity of Timothy Brown, mixed with the breathtaking art by Gerald Brom and the (to me at least) even more impressive, and highly atmospheric and disturbing drawings by Tom Baxa captured my imagination and fueled by gaming passion to this day. A few hours ago, I found out about a new project by T. Brown, a spiritual successor to the original Dark Sun setting that will not only incorporate art by Baxa and Brom again, but apparently also progressive Rock... there are little details at this point, but words can´t properly describe how excited I am about this right now. And trust me and my over 20 years of experience when I say that this has the potential to be one of the most impressive and unique RPG projects to be done in the last decades; let´s hope they will be able to realise that potential as well.
