Congratulations to the good people of Burkina Faso for sacking your President Blaise Compaore from office through protests after he had stayed in office as president for 27 years.You people also sacked your parliament and burned down the building because they wanted to extend his draconian rule further through legislation. Campaore is a murderer who came into power after killing his best friend and one the youngest and most promising leaders of the African continent Thomas Sankara in a violent coup. Sankara was a powerful revolutionary icon whose legacies could have completely transformed Burkina Faso if not for Campaore who assassinated him. Africa and the world are yet to recover from Sankaras death but his legacies live on. The people of Burkina Faso acted very late in resisting Campaore. They should have done so much earlier than now. When politicians refuse to hear the voice of reason the common people will give them the only thing they can hear&understand: sack them through peaceful civil resistance or... African and Arab leaders should be made to know that the political offices they occupy are not their ancestral&birth rights. They should be made to stop taking their poor unassuming masses for granted. Ori okwa oru nna owu. Africa Arise!!!
