Those you hang out with. On a recent fishing trip with my son, son in law, and grandson, we stayed in a nice enough place. The elevator was interesting. We would get in on our fourth floor when the arrow indicated that the elevator was going down, push the first floor button, and then the elevator would take us anywhere it wanted to, 6th, 5th, 3rd and then 5th, wherever. The people you hang out with are like an elevator, they will either take you up or they will take you down. So choose them carefully. And especially beware of those who, like our Fishing Trip Elevator, seem to always want to take you to the wrong place. Care for all, help as many as you can, be friendly without bias; but hang out with those who are going in the right direction, and you can help each other get there. He that walks with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed (Proverbs 13:20). Do good today.
