Though I am not fond of putting politics on my fb page, I feel after reading this that I need to do it this once. I have heard a couple interviews with Rob Astorino on NPR and I think we all need to be aware that he and his running mate are totally in for allowing drilling in NYS. The governor alone gets to make this final decision. Governor Cuomo has not been as forthright about this issue as I would like, but he has at least kept a moritorium in place while the hideous reports on health and contamination keep rolling in. Astorino also does not believe in local communities making laws to ban it , so no one is safe. For all of us that look to the health and well being of our children, grandchildren, and our residents, please think of this when you vote. Water is one of our most important resources we have. There is much at stake.
