Though Ive been preoccupied today, wishing my Mommy Happy Birthday has been right in the forefront. Seeing my sister, SusannWilson-Moody s post, made me a little teary eyed, reminding me that having a Mom who loves you unconditionally should never be taken for granted. Of course Proverbs 31 describes the noble character of our mother, grandmother, great gran, sister, aunt, cousin, Godmother, soror and friend. Shes well informed on almost any topic, so intelligent that her grandchildren find that she explains the issue better than their professor. She cares about the welfare of her offspring as well as the civil rights of all people. Her strong faith in God is truly an example for all of us. Mama, we love you and we celebrate your life today. Your strength and dignity is amazing. Thank you for teaching us that if we truly love God, we will have no problem serving Him or others. ...from now on all generations will call me blessed Luke 1:48
