Being a high school captain doesnt always guarantees one that he is a leader. From my experience and understanding, in high school teachers choose leaders for us. The space of democracy in high school only exist in fools dictionary. Teachers tend to pick a person who will probably work in their favour which very acceptable and within their right for the smooth running of the institution. Now this a different scenario. Students president must speak the voice of the comrades. He must be a unifying factor of an institution. He must know the problem of every department and how to solve it with the institution once and for all. Every penny you pay as school fees counts, so the leader must front to advocate the quality of lectures. I mean institutions of higher learning has got a lot tales. Finally we the public of which iam privileged to be have alot of confidence in you guys. Go for a leader who can transform the students leadership to be a body admired in the entire Republic.
