Thought for Today – God’s Acceptance – Part 1 I would like to share a word about Gods acceptance of us and the necessity of viewing ourselves the way He sees us. Psalm 139:13-16 says, “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” This entire Psalm is beautiful. I would encourage you to read when you have a spare moment. First, verse 13 says, “’For you have created my in most being; you knit me together in my mothers womb.” According to this scripture and others, God knew about each one of us before the creation of the world. It is no accident that we are here. I forget the exact number, but we were picked from millions of sperms, to go into an egg, to make the complete you and me. Maybe some of you taking science in school know the exact number of sperms. The number is incredible! Sometimes, I get upset at people that selfishly say that they wish they had not been born. Who are they to say this ridiculous statement? The fact is that God made them - you and me for His good pleasure. It is a slap in His face to say that we wish they had not been born. God gets upset at this also.
