Acts 2:4 Pentecost is an enigma to the intellectually superior. Theologians have tried to explain it away for years by telling us it was only for the 1st century saints, or that it is dispensed to some special few who are pre-ordained to lead the Church. But Joel 2:28 specifically says, “In the last days I will pour out my Spirit on ALL flesh...” It doesn’t say just a handful of saints to endure persecution, it doesn’t say to a select person to lead the Church, it doesn’t say for special purposes only. God’s Word is simple. He says ALL flesh – and when God says ALL, He means ALL – male, female, poor, rich, presbytery or lay, young or old, black, white, brown, yellow, purple-spotted - He meant you and He meant me!
