Thought for the Day, New Year’s Resolution ! My dear friends if you only make one New Year’s resolution let it be to, Spend more time with the people you love! In the past few years I have been with many people in their final hours when they were facing death. I have never heard anyone of them say, “Bring my new car around one more time so I can see it.” Or “Show me my awards or medals.” Or “Let me count all the money I have made just one more time.” When life is ending people don’t want to surround themselves with things. What we all want around us is the people we love and have relationships with. Don’t wait until you’re on your deathbed to figure out that nothing matters more than relationships. Friends it’ s not enough just to say “I love you.” Or To tell your friends, “You are important to me.” The importance of things or people can be measured by how much time we are willing to invest in them. Remember the true essence of love is not what we think, give, do or provide for others, but how much we give of ourselves. Give them your attention, your presence, your focus, your time! Start today, right now. You never know how long you will have the opportunity. Circumstances change, people die, and children grow up. None of us have a guarantee of tomorrow... The best expression of love is time. The best time to love is now! May God Bless you all, and may you all have a wonderful 2015
