Thought for the day: Dear Constituents of Warri South - TopicsExpress

Thought for the day: Dear Constituents of Warri South Constituency 1, a very good morning to you. I am Candidate on the platform of the APC ( the symbol is the broom) for this constituency as you already know. This morning I want to share a thought with you. What exactly does experience mean? Does it mean to occupy a position? I don’t think so, because I lean towards the school of thought that opines that; experience is not what happens to you but what you do with what has happened to you. In this cycle of election, the people are yearning for change; which means there is dissatisfaction with the stausquo. The makers of this statusquo cannot therefore be said to be experienced otherwise, people will be talking about consolidation and not change. We need to properly define experience in the circumstances. In defining experience we have to focus on what we need the experience for. In the case of the job at hand, the experience has to do with law making, policy development and oversight functions within the sphere of social development. It is therefore true that the experience required here does not have to come from being in a government position. A person who has acquired experience in this area will be truly fit and proper for the job of the day. We have a man in this race who is a tested lawyer, proven development practitioner and experienced policy adviser. What is experience? Maybe an interview of the applicants for this job will clear the air. Good morning! I remain open to questions as one of the most available candidates on this platform. I remain available because I believe that a representative cannot represent without being available to talk directly. This is part of the Change I stand for- accessibility.
