Thought of the Day People think their real self-interest is to enjoy, and then they become more attached even though everything is falling apart. Of course our real self-interest is to enjoy; that is…to enjoy this unlimited happiness that is Krishna consciousness. But that happiness is not external, that happiness is inside. You have to go inside for that. That happiness is achieved, just like it says here – it’s very interesting that Prabhupada makes reference to this verse, yat-tirtha-buddhih salile na karhicih – that happiness is realized by the hearing process.
