Thought of the afternoon, Part III: Regarding the election events on Tuesday: To all my friends whose major point of focus is the environment, at least you dont have to gauge what will be the response of the typical white person regarding you broaching the topic of climate change to them in passing, where it usually ranged from being totally receptive (rare), total ambivalence (most likely) or a physical attack that could lead to death (more likely than anyone wants to admit)...For the next two years at least, you will more than likely receive a smug smirk and a dismissive glare as if to say Whatever your reason for spouting this lie, WE are in charge now and other than listening to this bullshit for a few seconds of my life, climate change will no longer have an effect upon my existence...I know...The shit is beyond delusional, but at least your personal safety wont be an issue to the degree it has been under six years of Barry as he was laughably viewed as a green president by most people...Thus, you will be provided a small respite until the idiots realize they cant legislate away environmental destruction, which is coming much sooner than these assholes will ever know or, more correctly, acknowledge...
