Thought of the day: Are you too busy? ... Aint got time for it! ... Not on your way home? ... Too late to call? ... Live too far away? ... Assume someone else visits or checks on them? ... Do you know those who are elderly and seldom get out of their house? ... How about someone who lost their spouse and now lives alone? ... How about those of you whose parents are up in age? ... Or do you have friends whose lifestyle changed because their children are all gone and they are empty nesters now? ... Loneliness can be very depressing ... When you go from a house full to an empty house it can be devastating ... I often think about the elderly and how lonely they must be never having visitors, their friends passing away around them and their families ignoring them because they are too busy with their own lives ... Im sure many only have the meals on wheels angels and the mail delivery to talk to ... I know this feeling very well with the loss of our girls but Shay and I are blessed for now because we have our many nieces and nephews and family and friends around us, at least for now :-) but as everyone elses lives get busy Im sure the feeling of being left out or alone will come into play ... Heck, maybe not for us ... We may be the old couple that hosts the parties ...ha ha ha ... But my thought is for those you may know who are alone ... Take some time for them for they may not need much but they probably need it more often than you think ... Put your smile on and GOD BLESS AMERICA!
